Prospect of the Week: Mac Miller

A new feature were starting is Prospect of the Week, where we profile an up-and-coming musician each week. We consider them a “prospect” until they reach the big time with a debut album, songs playing on the radio, music videos on MTV, etc.
This week 18-year old Pittsburgh hip-hop artist Mac Miller is our prospect of the week since last week he signed a deal with Rostrum Records, the same label Pittsburgh rapper Wiz Khalifa is under. Mac is releasing his third mixtape on August 13th entitled “K.I.D.S”. His debut album is expected to be released in early 2011. Below are a few tracks by him and above is his latest music video, released July 26th.
