Formerly known as The Jakes, Young The Giant is a five-member indie rock band from Newport Beach, California, which has a unique sound that reminds me of Vampire Weekend but younger since all the members are all 21 years old or younger.
Young The Giant just finished their first full length album with Grammy Award winning producer Joe Chiccarelli (The White Stripes, The Shins, My Morning Jacket). The self-titled debut album hits stores October 26th featuring “My Body” and “I Got”, which I have featured below.
