Here’s a really good electro/hip-hop song by UK’s Tinie Tempah featuring fellow UK musician Ellie Goulding. The track is set to appear on Tinie’s upcoming debut album Disc-Overy which drops in the UK on October 4th. This song is also rumored to be his next single which makes sense since this track is awesome.

So Evan forgot to play this new Tinie Tempah on Before the Bigs Radio today. No worries, listen and download below.

J. Smith, a rapper from Philly coming out of Lower Merion High School (Kobe’s alma mater) is now at St. Joseph’s University.
Here’s his remix to nicki minaj and gyptian’s “Hold Yuh”. He’s got a solid flow and clever lyrics. I see a bright future ahead of him so stay tuned.

Northern Cali hip-hop musician PJ Simas recently released a remix to Mike Posner’s “Please Don’t Go”, my favorite song off Posner’s debut album. I really enjoy PJ’s take on the song as he makes the whole song himself including the instrumentals, the vocals and producing the whole track. This dude is highly talented and I see only bigger things coming from him.

The song above was a #1 download on iTunes by electro/hip-hop group Far East Movement. They started in Los Angeles in 2003 and are called Far East Movement because of the varying Asian backgrounds of the 4 Asian-American members of the group.

They have put out several albums and a couple other releases, and are signed by a subsidiary of Interscope Records. They make party/club tracks and have great electronica beats with catchy hooks.

Below I have included their most recent song “If I Was You” featuring Snoop Dogg and their latest hit single “Like A G6″.

Mashup between Three 6 Mafia, Foster the People and Empire of the Sun. I really like the last two indie rock/alternative acts and like a few Three 6 Mafia songs. Putting all three of these songs together works so well and I’m glad Black Glove made this.

Check these guys out from Seattle. Macklemore is the rapper, Ryan Lewis is the producer, and together they are a dynamic duo. Macklemore’s lyrics and flow are solid. Otherside, their best song in my opinion is off of their The Vs. EP. Download

If you like Phoenix at all, you will like Two Door Cinema Club. Funny thing is, the Ireland-born Electro-Pop/Indie Rock band opened for Phoenix earlier this year on their 2010 US Tour, but since then have been a headlining act performing in Australia, the UK and the US among others.

Two Door Cinema Club formed in 2007 and released their debut album, Tourist History, in March 2010, which has some really great songs.

Below are my favorites from Two Door Cinema Club including a song (“Hands Off My Cash Monty”) which was released recently.

Two Door Cinema Club – What You Know

Two Door Cinema Club – Something Good Can Work

Two Door Cinema Club – Eat That Up Its Good For You

Carlos St. John, known as the “Brooklyn James Bond” on his website, is an alternative hip-hop artist who busts out different beats in each song and has something about his music that makes him stand out. After hearing the Brooklyn MC’s take on Wiz Khalifa’s “Black and Yellow” in “Perfect”, I wanted more from Carlos St. John.

I downloaded his latest EP, The St John Portfolio, and have to bring you some of my favorite tracks from the man.

Okay, immediately I thought this song is a radio hit. Many of you might not like this, but it’s catchy, even if the lyrics are silly.

I hope you enjoy it! One-hit wonder or potential pop star?
