As 2010 comes to an end, thought it would be good to give you a few of my favorite remixes to Matt & Kim’s “Daylight”. Above is a picture of them naked during the music video for “Lessons“.

Above is the official trailer to the Dean’s List upcoming new mixtape, The Drive-In, which is scheduled to drop this coming February. I have been talking with DJ Mendoza and the members of the group a lot in the last few months and am really excited for this mixtape to drop. Expect big things from this group in 2011. Many may not know much about them now but after the Drive-In releases, people will start to take notice.
It’s finally here, the entire, Rawth EP. The album by Nottz Raw and Asher Roth has seen some action on the blogs in recent past when tracks off of it such as “Don’tcha Wanna Be? (my neighbor)” and “Enforce The Law” leaked a few months back. I’ll admit, at first I was not too impressed from what I heard out these two leaked tracks. However, with the full EP now available, I found a new liking for it. The album has a soft/relaxed hip-hop feel to it but is still quite catchy.

Asher Roth never disappoints with his freestyling and Nottz brings a lot of rawness to the tracks (hence his full stage name). My favorites are “Comin’ and Goin” featuring Rhymefest and “Run It Back” (Remix) featuring Kardinal Offishall. Download the entire album here and let us know what you think. Enjoy!
e-dubble samples Sufjan Stevens “Star of Wonder” in the 48th Freestyle Friday for e-dubble. Sufjan Stevens is the dude in the picture above (sorta looks like Clive Owen).
Anybody else hoping e-dubble continues this Freestyle Friday series forever. I can’t get enough of how much I enjoy his songs more and more. Anyways, listen and download “Cold Stars” below.
Lupe Fiasco recently released the official music video for “The Show Goes On”. One of my most recent Lupe Fiasco favorites and the music video only makes it better. Download
If you haven’t seen Tron Legacy which features the sounds of Daft Punk and is in 3D is a great experience. Daft Punk enhanced big parts of the film with it’s electronica and the French duo even had a solid cameo in the film.
Above is the music video to the theme song (download) for Tron Legacy and if you like Daft Punk fan even just a little, check out the Tron soundtrack.
DJs From Mars are an Italian duo that put together some really good remix/mashups to party to.
Below are a couple of recent tracks by them.

Consequence, Diggy Simmons and Mac Miller all have bright futures in the hip-hop game. Therefore, it is very nice to see them all appear on a track together, not to mention the nice Biggie hook sampled in this track. They are all very young rappers and we will continue to hear more of them as 2011 is quickly approaching us. Enjoy “I’m V.I.P.” by Consequence featuring Diggy Simmons and Mac Miller and download it if you please. Happy Holidays everyone!

DOSVEC puts out another solid 2-song mashup using Tupac again, this time using the instrumentals of “Changes” versus one of my recent favorite’s by Jay-Z, “Roc Boys”.
