Theophilus London – Why Even Try *Pop/Funk dopenessNew Theophilus London off his upcoming A Lovers Holiday EP, dropping early February. “Why Even Try” sounds like Kanye West producing pop music in the 80′s and being influenced by some of the earliest hip-hop that had those funk instrumentals.

This song is retro-futuristic but more specifically can be called urban pop with the 80′s sounding synths, hip-pop from Theophilus and featuring Sara Quin from Canadian indie rock band Tegan & Sara on the vocals. Shit, if I confused you on some of what I just wrote, then listen and download the song already.
