hip-hop you missed *Ethan Jaymes, Amor Jones, Ying Yang Twins and much more

Five hip-hop artists I haven’t featured on the site before but who have at least 1 song from them that I love. Most of these songs came out at least a month ago, all really good in my opinion. Hopefully you hear a few songs you like.

My favorite song in this post is by Rhode Island rapper Ethan Jaymes. I have listened to “Every Kid” at least 8-10 times as I like the flow and love the simple beat with the drum kit and piano that he raps over. Watch out for Ethan Jaymes. Follow on: Facebook / Twitter

Amor Jones is a 19 year-old rapper from Columbus, Ohio. He released his mixtape, The Wake Up Show, recently which is pretty solid. “Right Now” is my favorite song off the tape. Follow on: Facebook / Twitter

When I heard there was a new Ying Yang Twins song, I was real skeptical it would sound good as I believed these guys were just one-hit wonders. However, the instrumentals are real dope and the lyrics are silly, but that’s Ying Yang Twins.”Boomerang” should have a music video with a bunch of half-naked chicks shaking their booties. Instead this is the music video. I hope this song gets radio play.

LA & Mr. Music rap over a beat that sounds like a song Kanye West produced. Can’t quite figure out which one, but in this 6 minute rap song, we got 3-4 artists straight killing it on this hot beat. Follow on: Facebook / Twitter

Aaron Bell dropped this song in in the fall of 2010 and somehow it’s been way too long for me to post this catchy hip-hop jam. The rapping is solid, the beat is bumping, look forward to hearing more from the Kansas State University student-rapper.
