The White Panda does it again, combining two classic songs from two different genres. All-time rap great Biggie Smalls‘ with all-time classic rock great Tom Petty. B.I.G’s ”Mo Money Mo Problems” is meshed perfectly with Petty’s “Free Fallin” by The White Panda to create a great mashup.

We thought a cover would be a good idea and since we both love “Harvest Moon” we decided to give it a try. It’s super intimidating to cover Neil Young so we tried to make it a lot different, just so we didn’t have to “compete” with the master….

Well, everyones favorite frat rap duo, Timeflies, drops us their weekly edition of “Timeflies Tuesday,” with Cal freestyling over a beat made by Rez. Absolutely great stuff from these two, I just hope they give us download links for this stuff.

Early last week, I posted about up-and-coming dubstep duo Electric Drip saying how much I love their unique style of music. Just a couple of days after that, I got to see them live and was extremely impressed. Though I knew already that their music was impressive, seeing them perform live at the Premiere Supper Club in Hollywood made me like them even more. They provided so much energy during their performance and with style.
Their tracks off Brainwash that they performed were the most sensational and got the entire crowd up and dancing on their feet. This was Electric Drip’s first show in LA and hopefully not their last. They put on a great show which I know anyone a fan of dubstep and electronic music as a whole will enjoy!

This should be a pleaser to all of our dubstep fans. I’ve had a low quality version of Skrillex ”Bangarang” floating around my iTunes library for about a week. But now that I’ve got the high quality version, I’m sharing it with you for maximum bumpage. Skrillex continues to impress me by consistently making good dubstep. With a lot of vocals (for a Skrillex song), this one will keep you listening.

I think this song is perfect just about now, especially since it’s a little after 7:30am in Los Angeles and the song is called “Wake Up LA”. Really loving all the banging sounds from this electro house song from Far Too Loud. Kind of funny throwing this song up early in the morning but hopefully this wakes your ass up because having the case of the Mondays should never occur on Tuesdays.

This song is timeless. I could easily go back in time and hear this song and enjoy it just about as much as I would today. Caught A Ghost has serious talent with their indie electro soul that reminds me of Fitz & The Tantrums.
