Here’s what Hoodie Allen told us when he dropped his latest video off in our inbox:
So back in July when I released Leap Year (DOWNLOAD), I let the fans decide which videos they wanted to see off the project. Overwhelmingly, people wanted to see visuals for the song “James Franco”. We went all the way to Hollywood to shoot this in an effort to find the man behind the song…turns out he wasn’t too hard to find.
Leap Year is a must-download mixtape and I’m happy that as a fan he chose the song “James Franco” to make his next music video for. The fact he flew out to LA to shoot the visuals in Venice Beach, Hollywood and other parts of Los Angeles I have frequented only adds to how much I enjoy this video.
Since interviewing Hoodie Allen almost 13 months ago for what was his 1st video interview, we are so proud of his progress and the music he has been putting out. There’s no stopping the UPenn grad and former Google employee as he’s taking over the indie hip-hop scene.
