New song from PA duo CJ Smith & Evan Rotunno featuring Travie McCoy. I wonder how much they paid Travie for the feature and Dave Patten for the dope video. Nonetheless, I think it’s a pretty catchy hip-pop song with a dope video to go along with it.

Andrew Lin or, Aylen has been featured on the site multiple times, and every time, he has done nothing but kill his tracks. This kid can remix anything and everything, and they all flat out bang. Aylen will have a huge 2012 due to his funky electro style and his awesome ability to remix huge tracks no matter what genre they are in.
The first track, Aylen’s remix of Afrojack and Shermanology‘s “Can’t Stop Me” is straight fire. Where Afrojack inserts Dirty Dutch madness, Aylen switches that for flat out funky electro. Give this a listen and a DOWNLOAD and enjoy the hell out of it, cause it’s a party starter.
Afrojack & Shermanology – Can’t Stop Me (Aylen Remix)
The next track is Aylen’s take on a brand new Rusko track. And instead of change it’s style completely, he ventures into the Moombah category and succeeds above and beyond. This is a great track from Aylen, I picture this being played in the middle of a set in an effort to switch up styles a little bit, cause as we all know Moombah will get the people goin. Give this a listen and download, and turn it up.

Three new Miike Snow songs released in the last month, including a remix to my favorite of them all, “Devil’s Work“. The first song “Black Tin Box” has a spacey kind of sound that is good to chill to. “Paddling Out” is more upbeat and has great production as it seems like a good upbeat hipster lounge song. Lastly Alex Metric did a remix of “Devil’s Work”, one of my favorite recent Miike Snow tracks.

Jordan Atkins-Loria, also known by his stage name Lucky Date, is a Chicago based Producer/DJ who is making some serious waves in the EDM industry. Originally hailing from California, Lucky Date has a great vibe emanating from his tracks. His style feels like a crossover between Porter Robinson and Skrillex with some sick electro synths and melodies thrown in. That is the best I can do to describe this awesome producer, his style is very unique and that’s a good thing.
Lucky Date is currently preparing to kick off the X-Tour with the likes of Excision and Liquid Stranger, two heavy hitters in the EDM world. He has done official remixes for The Crystal Castles, Greenskeepers, Richard Vission, Trash Yourself, Alex Kidd USA, Vhs or Beta, Lazy Rich, Frederik Olufsen, Zedd, and many others. He also works as a synth engineer providing the sounds behind some of the worlds biggest names including David Guetta. It’s time to get on board with Lucky Date cause his stock is rising at an exponential rate.
Here’s an unusual but entertaining quality remix from Futurecop! and Ham$tar*. It’s not the most catchy but I’m loving all the instrumentals he throws on this Taylor Swift track. I don’t really like Taylor Swift‘s music but I like her “Love Story” song a bit more because of this interesting remix. Stream and download below.
Brand new hip-hop track from Black Cobain and Ethan Jaymes. I love the horns and kickdrum beats produced by Falside in “Same Difference”, the rapping from Cobain and Jaymes are on-point and superb. Overall a quality hip-hop song I think gets some play on these artists respective local radio stations.
Flashlights returns and better than ever! This time they release their newest single “Fireworks” off their upcoming EP So Close To Midnight which is due to release this Spring. This alternative/dance oriented sound is vintage and is exactly what the music industry needs. I look forward to what is next from the upcoming EP. Enjoy!
