We Stole The Kids self-produces a new song and video, “I’m Alive”. This friendly song pays homage to the traditional funk era with excellent string play, keys, single chords, and easy yet fantastic vocal performance and rap delivery from Jess Ingui and August Coupe, respectively. With that being said, the music video unexpectedly portrays the band in a gritter, succubus-influenced scenario.
I dig the sexy look of Jess, I don’t quite understand the theme of the video but dig that they did some sort of bloody thing rather than perform in front of a camera for the whole video, and overall the song is real good!
Watch the official music video to “I’m Alive” below (song starts at :18).
