Malik “Ex-Cell” Lowery was born and raised on the south side of Chicago. “Yesterdays Remembered” was Ex-Cell‘s first solo mixtape, it was released in the summer of 2011. Shortly after Ex-Cell started working on his second tape “Once Upon a Rhyme“. This tape was a mix of remixes to some studio beats and of course some original tracks.
Ex-Cell has a flow that is truly on point and backs it up with some real lyrics. He rhymes about relationships, worldly issues and his personal experiences without using profanity. Ex-Cell is a talent that has not yet scratched the surface or fully tapped into his potential as a musician. Stay Tuned!
Check out my favorite song by Ex-Cell entitled “Hands On The Wheel (Remix)” below.
Here’s the original “Hands On The Wheel” with Schoolboy Q featuring A$AP Rocky.
