Tate Tucker – Go It Alone ft. Beck *indie/hip-hop
July 30th, 2012 by Siegz | Alternative/Indie, Chill/Jam/Reggae, Hip-Hop/Rap |
“Go It Alone” is the first single off Tate Tucker‘s next project, indie/hip-hop EP WEST/RIDGE. The track is produced by P.D. (a former Trumpet player in the Long Beach State Orchestra) and features a sample from Tate’s favorite Beck song “Go It Alone”. The video is shot all over Los Angeles including Venice Beach and Santa Monica where Tate was raised.
Not only do I dig the production on this track but the video brings out the song’s chill vibes. Not sure if I dig the song’s message that much but I love how chill this song is as Tate Tucker is probably one of the most underrated up-and-coming rappers in the game, plus he goes to school so I have much respect for a musician that does school and music at the same time.
