“Leila” is the first song released from Miami Horror‘s new conceptual release The Shapes – a unique 5 track release that has Miami Horror step out of their comfort zone. The Shapes combines upbeat percussive grooves, with experimental vocal styles that echo Talking Heads and other post-new wave groups of the 80s.

In conjunction with the EP’s release, Miami Horror are working closely with visual artists that have inspired their music such as Erin Garcia, Spenceroni, Lynnie Zulu & Annukil, as well as Argentinian and South African artists John Mccam & Sebatian Borkenhagen.

I can’t wait to hear the rest of The Shapes and give you guys a thorough review of the 5-track EP, I love everything Miami Horror does and this continues their vibrant electric vibe they bring to their music.
