While I didn’t catch the entirety of the three acts I saw perform at the Santa Monica Pier for All Hands on Deck, I thoroughly enjoyed this show as it was outdoors with the Pacific Ocean in the backdrop and I got to take an awesome chick to enjoy these upcoming acts with myself. Anyways here’s my review of Kisses, YACHT and Poolside at All Bands On Deck.

Last Wednesday, I experienced the funky sounds of Go Go Bizkitt! and The Phantom’s Revenge at The Central SAPC in Santa Monica, CA. Both DJs were awesome with Go Go Bizkitt spinning that funky disco house vibes all night while The Phantom’s Revenge played mostly disco house with some trap music and some electro vibes. One of my favorite parts of this dance party show was hearing both of the acts remix Daft Punk.

Last Sunday on October 7, I attended the last day of Filter Magazine’s Culture Collide 2012 Festival. A couple Sunday’s ago, I attended Pacific Festival 2012: The Dunes, featuring Mayer Hawthorne, Poolside, Bag Raiders, Capital Cities and much much more vibe out at the Newport Beach Marina. This was my 2nd time attending Pacific Festival and this year they toned it down on worldwide acts (last year Snoop Dogg, Cut Copy, Steve Aoki and Calvin Harris were some notable favorites) but they moved the location away from an isolated area (from Oak Canyon Ranch to Newport Beach) and really created this unique festival vibe on a beach.
