Jamie Leffler, lead singer of DWNTWN, is probably the coolest musician I have never met from a music duo that way more people need to know about. Reason why your asking? Well late last night, Jamie sent us over two unreleased remixes to their latest hit, “Believe Me (The Premix)“.

These two exclusive downloads, the first from Radio Black and the second from PUNCHES are both must-listen’s as they turn the song from an electro-dance-pop hit to more fun pop dance sounds with less electro. I have listened to both remixes at least a few times now and still can’t figure out which I like more.

Ok peoples, here’s another edition of Remix Battle, this time we are taking the dumb Rihanna song “We Found Love”.When she keeps singing “We found a love in a hopeless place…” I just keep thinking she found love in a jail, DMV, funeral, somewhere that might give you the feeling it’s hopeless. I just don’t get finding loving in a hopeless place, it’s so stupid!

Another edition of remix battle and this time its for a song that has been remixed and mashed way way way too much. However, it’s hard to ignore when Avicii‘s “Levels” plays as it’s such a great song and the remixing/mashing it can’t make it much worse, right?

First here’s the Moombah-Electro remix from Bombs and Bottles. His song “When The Lights Go Out” was featured on Best You Never Heard 5 and he’s a real talented individual not just with remixes but original tunes as well.
