B.o.B collaborates with Bun B and Big K.R.I.T to create “5 On The Kush”, a new leak of Bobby Ray’s next project E.P.I.C. This track is solid getting us even more excited for whats to come next from the Atlanta rapper. Enjoy!

B.o.B – Welcome to the Jungle Freestyle

September 22nd, 2011 by | Hip-Hop/Rap |

Bobby Ray does his thing on Jay-Z and Kayne‘s beat from “Watch the Throne.” Taking the beat off the top 10 album on iTunes, B.o.B freestyles over it to create a decent track, but being that its a freestyle, its great, B.o.B is one of the most underrated freestylers in the game. Not sure if this track will be on his upcoming mixtape, “Strange Clouds”.

Wale – First Class (Ft. Big Sean and B.O.B)

July 12th, 2011 by | Hip-Hop/Rap |

If all the Wale hating hasn’t stopped yet, there’s nothing he can do. This summer, Wale has come out with awesome track after awesome track with features from some of the best in the game. This latest track, “First Class” features Big Sean and B.O.B, and all of these dudes straight kill it. This song is a MUST DOWNLOAD. My only question is when is Wale’s next solo project going to come out? Wale is back. Go get em!

Featuring B.o.B. with Spodee, T.I. & One Republic

July 3rd, 2011 by | Hip-Hop/Rap, Pop |

Three songs that feature Bobby Ray aka B.o.B. He’s tremendously talented with rapping and singing. In these three songs he continues to show off his rap skills and bring the fun that music lacks sometimes these days with all the songs being about relationships and shit. Anyway, I’m a little drunk so not the best with words right now but I’m good at bringing great music.
T.I. – We Don’t Get Down Like Y’all (Feat. B.o.B.)
Spodee – Sunlight [Ft. B.o.B. & Mitchelle’l]
One Republic – Good Life (Remix) (feat. B.o.B.)

CyHi The Prynce – Royal Flush 2

June 29th, 2011 by | Hip-Hop/Rap, R&B |

I finally finished listening to all of CyHi The Prynce latest mixtape, Royal Flush 2 (DOWNLOAD). This is a must-download project with G.O.O.D. Music quality all over it. I’m still not the biggest CyHi fan but still peaks my interest for his future music releases.

Mostly I’m a huge fan of the production and features behind this project and envision his debut album to be familiar to the production and features Big Sean got on Finally Famous. Here’s my three favorite tracks from Royal Flush 2, if you believe these tracks are ballin’ like me, then download Royal Flush 2.
CyHi The Prynce – When The Smoke Clears [Prod. By J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League]
CyHi The Prynce – End Of The Night [Prod. By Shawty Redd]
CyHi The Prynce – Stadium (Feat. B.o.B) [Prod. By Mel & Mus]

Yelawolf – “It’s A Party” (featuring B.o.B)

May 10th, 2011 by | Hip-Hop/Rap |

Yelawolf collides with B.o.B to create an awesome new track called “It’s A Party”. Personally, I was never a really big fan of Yelawolf and I was getting very tired of B.o.B selling out. However, this track helps me like them a little bit better. Once again the instrumentals are heart pounding and the rapping is done with a lot of intensity which I love a lot. Still, Yelawolf has to prove himself a little bit more in my opinion and B.o.B has should go back to his old roots. Either way though, this is a very enjoyable song with a strong Southern feel to it, adding a some variety to hip-hop music currently.

B.o.B and Owl City – “Alligator Sky”

April 29th, 2011 by | Alternative/Indie, Hip-Hop/Rap, Pop |

B.o.B jumps on Owl City’s “Alligator Sky” previously done by Shawn Chrystopher. I really enjoy this version however it appears that this may have been leaked without B.o.B knowing because the Shawn Chrystopher version will appear on Owl City’s next album. Either way, it is a great track, with sensational rapping by B.o.B, instrumentals, and singing by Owl City. Enjoy!

DJ Bahler – Waste No Water (mashup mixtape)

April 7th, 2011 by | Album/Mixtape/EP Review, Mashup |

DJ Bahler recently dropped his latest mashup mixtape, Waste No Water (Download) which is prelude to his bigger project, Free The Snares. Nonetheless, this mixtape is really good and when he told me that some of the songs were actually ones that didn’t make his next mixtape, I was shocked at how good most of the mashups were knowing they were “leftovers”.

I love how all of his mashups pick up into an upbeat mix of sounds. Here’s my favorites.
DJ Bahler – Fakes On A Plane
DJ Bahler – The Wicked Neva Rest
DJ Bahler – El Lobo Y La Luna
If your like me and you want to know the samples in the song, DJ Bahler has provided a sampled tracklisting.

Sampled Saturday *G-Eazy, Dean and Ravo, Cam Meekins, BliSS, Chris Young

March 26th, 2011 by | Alternative/Indie, Hip-Hop/Rap, Pop, Remix, Sampled Saturday |

Not only useless but dumb! Yep that’s Kim Kardashian, my co-workers kept talking about her today so I had to post a picture that makes her look ugly. It’s been long overdue since I have done sampled saturday so let’s get right to it.

First we got G-Eazy who is one of the few rappers to sample non-mainstream indie music. I’m not always the biggest fan of chill rap songs, but the instrumentals are dope in how they flipped the original song by Jai Paul, “BTSU” to become G-Eazy’s “Kings”. Chill rap that’s different because of dope sampling and good rhymes.

Next we got Dean and Ravo with “Finally” which samples Journey‘s “Faithfully”, not the song most of you would expect. This came off Dean and Ravo debut mixtape, A to B (download), a solid debut effort but leaving me wanting more from this hip-hop duo.
Dean and Ravo – Finally (feat. Mr. Crisis)
A teenage white rapper from suburbia, yep I’m skeptical. However Cam Meekins has a couple catchy songs but also some laughable songs (“Tonight“). In “I’m Bored” he samples Jason Mraz and adds in some nice clap beats for a fairly dope song. If you like Meekins, download his latest mixtape, 1993.
Cam Meekins – I’m Bored
This song comes as a submission from BliSS who samples the melody to “Magic” by B.o.B. “Pussy Music Alcohol (P.M.A.)” is frat rap compared to “Magic” and it’s enjoyable although the original is on a different level even though it got overplayed on the radio.
BliSS – Pussy Music Alcohol
Lastly comes a hip-hop song I heard back in late January that samples indie band Cults. Chris Young The Rapper has potential (he’s under Cisco Adler’s record label) and I think he will only get better with more experience.
