Fresh off two high-profile remixes for both Diplo & Don Diablo as well as masked production trio Black Tiger Sex Machine, Charlie Darker is back with a new hard-hitting single on Kannibalen Records’ summer compilation Kannibals At The Beach. On “Corner Kids”, the budding producer delivers an experimental take on the peak-time banger. A DJ weapon in the truest sense of the term, his latest offering explores the darker sounds of Electro House with an impressive growling bassline that sets him apart from the current crop of familiar-sounding producers. Simple yet powerful, Darker’s latest sound is sure to resonate with electronic music’s most seasoned enthusiasts and the genre’s novices alike.

Charlie Darker is the next big artist in electronic dance music! Slowed to 112 BPM, Darker’s remix brings a rougher edge to the original track from Diplo and Don Diablo, shaping it for the dirtyness of a dark, sweaty dancefloor. With less bleeps and blops, he accentuates the tribal build-up, leading the listener into a distortion-heavy drop that’s sure to leave you wanting more.

We are proud to present our 5th edition of Best You’ve Never Heard, which features 18 songs from up-and-coming artists in a variety of genres that we love. We set stricter guidelines this time in choosing emerging musical talents, only selecting artists who, as of December 28 2011, have less than 5,000 facebook fans. We also made sure to select artists that very little to none of our friends liked and knew about, to further strengthen the idea that these 18 tracks are the Best You’ve Never Heard.
