Hey everyone, I’m Matt (burnout) and I will be posting some amazing party playlists for all of you. I am a DJ (check me out HERE) so I want to share some awesome music for all your listening pleasures. Today I present to you, DJ Burnout‘s Summer Playlist; a 2-part playlist of 15 Summer Jams each that’ll keep you partying way after Summer ends. Earlier this week Chase & Status and Tinie Tempah released the official music video to “Hitz”. Today was the first time I heard of this dope collaboration and after hearing the song a couple times, I think it’s a solid collaboration but just shows that more people need to work with the talented duo Chase & Status. I don’t like much dubstep but here’s a few I have heard in the last couple months that I particularly enjoy.
First Draper remixes one of my favorite Strange Talk songs, “Climbing Walls“. There really isn’t a whole lot of dubstep in this but rather a mix of electronic sounds that take the original in another direction.

Here’s one of my favorite dubstep remixes from Rocket Pimp on Chase & Status‘ “Time” featuring Delilah. Rocket Pimp remixes this with some dubstep but a dubstep that you can dance to.

Heard this a few months back, Jay-Z “Big Pimpin’” dubstep remix from SUBshockers. It’s really heavy on dubstep but I love the original so I had to put this on.

Lastly a remix many of you might hate me for blogging about. I found a dubstep remix to Rebecca Black‘s “Friday”. The song is too catchy its contagious so I’m sorry for infecting you with the Rebecca Black virus but hopefully this dubstep remixes finally get’s the song out of your system.

Chase & Status are an electro duo who hail from London, UK. It consists of Saul “Chase” Milton and Will “Status” Kennard. The duo have a very unique electronic/pop sound to their music and have quite catchy tracks. They have actually been quite popular in England for a while and currently have over 3,000 fans on their facebook page. They are just now starting to become mainstream. I actually just heard them on XM radio the other day. Their first album, More Than Alot, debuted in the UK album charts at number 49 on October 19, 2008. Since then they have been up to a lot with tours all over England and many other parts of Europe. They just released their second album, No More Idols, on January 31st and it’s a good one. Expect a lot from this electro duo in the near future. In the meantime, enjoy two of my favorite tracks by them “Streetlife” (featuring Takura) and “End Credits” (featuring Plan B).
