Mike Posner‘s much anticipated new project The Layover drops tomorrow and to help us get more excited about it, he has decided to leak two more tracks off of it. This time he gives us “Mittens Up” (featuring eLZhi & Dusty McFly) and ”Room 925″ (featuring Cyhi The Prynce). Both are very solid tracks, with excellent production work, legit rapping versus, and amazing vocals by Posner. I am looking very much forward to the release of the entire mixtape tomorrow. In the meantime, enjoy these two new leaks!

I finally finished listening to all of CyHi The Prynce latest mixtape, Royal Flush 2 (DOWNLOAD). This is a must-download project with G.O.O.D. Music quality all over it. I’m still not the biggest CyHi fan but still peaks my interest for his future music releases.

Mostly I’m a huge fan of the production and features behind this project and envision his debut album to be familiar to the production and features Big Sean got on Finally Famous. Here’s my three favorite tracks from Royal Flush 2, if you believe these tracks are ballin’ like me, then download Royal Flush 2.

A month before it’s official release, the XXL Magazine Freshman 2011 cover art leaked with the list of 11 up-and-coming hip-hop artists featured on the cover. The artists on the cover are Meek Mill, Big K.R.I.T., Cyhi The Prynce, Lil Twist, Yelawolf, Fred The Godson, Mac Miller, YG, Lil B, Kendrick Lamar, and Diggy Simmons.

My 3 favorite choices are Big K.R.I.T., Diggy Simmons and Mac Miller. What are your thoughts? Any major snubs (I got a few)? Let us know in the comments, chat box, facebook or twitter.

We would love to hear your feedback since we are putting out our own 11 hip-hop artists to break out in 2011 in early March with a mixtape of all the artists best songs. Don’t want to give you any hints but at least 1-2 artists on XXL Magazine’s list will be on our list.

I used to be in that group of people that are sick of Kanye West, but now I’m in that group that just can’t wait to hear more Kanye West.
