Music. Fashion. Collaboration. The Future of NOW.

So I decided to create a rather unconventional music post today. Get ready to be INSPIRED.

I’ve recently helped some friends of mine launch a clothing line called the  ADAMO Collection. The whole idea behind this company is to provide a platform for rebelliously creative young people to pursue their passions, collaborate with each other, and express themselves freely. As a forward thinking company centered on passion and creativity, we look forward to working with bands, DJs, music blogs, etc!

Needless to say, launching a clothing line sure isn’t easy and 18 hour workdays are not unheard of. In order to stay sane and keep inspiration flowing, we blast music on our sick sound system 24/7. I thought it’d be neat to share some of these tunes with you guys and so I’ve compiled a playlist of some of our most listened to tracks on spotify. I’ve included everything from electronica/dubstep artists like Pendulum, Doctor P, Flux Pavilion, Emancipator, The Glitch Mob, Benny Benassi, and Steve Aoki, to more indie/alternative tracks from bands like The Naked and Famous, The Civil Wars, and M83. I also threw in some Tinie Tempah, Coldplay, and Claude Debussy. I think my favorite track has gotta be Pendulum’s The Island ( Dusk til Dawn remix). SOOO GOOD. Chiddy Bang – I Can’t Stop (Music Video)

July 7th, 2011 by | Dance, Hip-Hop/Rap, Music Video |

Chiddy Bang goes over Flux Pavilion‘s “I Can’t Stop”. I love the beat and what Xaphoon Jones does with it which allows Chiddy to straight kill in on the rhymes once again. “I Can’t Stop” is off CB’s last project, Peanut Butter & Swelly.

Chiddy Bang is a huge reason why we started this blog. Our first ever blog post we posted “Opposite of Adults” and “All Things Go”, still at the top among my all-time favorite CB songs. It’s been a great year developing this brand and we can’t wait to continually find you great music from up-and-coming artists, introduce you to new artists every day and work on more opportunities to give back to you including contests, merchandise, shows and much more!

Anyways, here’s “I Can’t Stop” to listen and download.

Music video after the jump.

Theo Martins – I Can’t Stop (Puffy Time) x Get It x GO

May 26th, 2011 by | Alternative/Indie, Dance, Dubstep, Hip-Hop/Rap, Pop, Remix |

Big Theo Martins update with three new songs he released within the last month or so. First track is his latest that he released this week, “I Can’t Stop (Puffy Time)” which has production from dubstep producer Flux Pavilion. Loving the dubstep/electro instrumental with Theo keeping up on the rhymes

Next we got “Get It” which is more of a electronic pop hop track as Theo Martins collaborate with Malaysian superstar pop singer Mizz Nina with production from DJ Fuzz. I like the club/party feel of this song and it further shows the variety of quality music Theo Martins puts out.

Lastly comes a Theo Martins remix to one of Santigold‘s latest singles “Go”. I thought the original is solid but Theo Martins jumps on it and the song just sounds more upbeat. Further showing his diverse sound, “Go” is more of an alternative hip-hop jam with some interesting electronic influences.

Theo Martins is currently preparing for his tour to Asia starting next week.
