I put lazy sunday music in google images and this was on the first images that showed up.. random huh. All these songs have elements that make them fairly relaxing and enjoyable tracks for a Sunday afternoon and they are hip-hop based.
First we got G-Riot who recently dropped the mixtape, Still In A Dream. I thought the mixtape was solid and the song I particularly grew fond of was “Alone”. Still waiting to see if a Boston hip-hop product could emerge mainstream like Sam Adams, could be G-Riot with his continued improvement.
G-Riot – Alone
Next Nick Carter Green raps over a retro-beat for a feel good chill hip-hop/R&B song. Look out for more from him as he’s got serious potential.
Nick Carter Green – Don’t Wanna Lose
I love this track from Sam Lachow. Starts off acapella with Lachow delivering a straight smooth relaxed flow for this Jazz/Hip-Hop hit. I love the Saxaphone, how the whole instrumentals builds from nothing to something very pleasant. Plus DawnMarie Allan delivering sweet vocals to finish off the track. Watch the music video.

I don’t know much about Jacob Es except he takes this chill bluesy sounding beat and when it hits 30 seconds in, just flows. This is a beat anybody could rap over but I like that Jacob has confidence in rapping over this blues/rock beat because it’s so chill and shows his appreciation in the music that influences rock and many other genres today.
Jacob Es – Lifted
Lastly Trailblaza hit us up with “Great Day”, chill beat sounds like a slight mix to the first two songs above. Hopefully this chill hip-hop/R&B jam makes your day that much better.
