Radical Something – Long Hair, Don’t Care

July 13th, 2011 by | Alternative/Indie, Chill/Jam/Reggae, Hip-Hop/Rap, Remix |

Radical Something, AKA the duo of rapper Loggy and silky smooth singer Josh Cocktail just dropped their latest single, the summertime anthem “Long Hair, Don’t Care.” This track has a more rock feel, but the dudes kill it with the track that’s perfect for an outdoor summertime party on the beach…or something.

Just imagine Josh Cocktail riding in the car with the windows down and his glorious mane blowing in the wind. Delightful. Get on twitter and follow Radical Something and the individual members Loggy and Josh Cocktail and support the movement. These dudes have been killing it all summer, and I’m excited to see what else they come up with.

Radical Something – Escape

June 30th, 2011 by | Pop |

New chill-hop/pop from Cali trio Radical Something. Rapping from Loggy is solid, Big Red with the chill Summer feel and Josh Cocktail may be the standout with the vocals and catchy hook. Mostly though I’m a fan of the acoustic guitar but all of these elements go together so well.

*Update* Radical Something – Be Easy ft. Kinetics (Video + MP3)

June 16th, 2011 by | Hip-Hop/Rap, Music Video, Pop |

Radical Something is the new collaboration between white chill-hop MC Loggy and soul-pop vocalist Josh Cocktail and producer Big Red. These three musicians collaboration gives them an edge in the music industry and I can’t wait to hear more chill hip-pop fro this trio.

Today they released the music video to their first single, “Be Easy” featuring Kinetics from Kinetics & One Love. “Be Easy” is a relaxing hip-pop jam where all the talent from these artists just comes together to create a dope summer anthem to vibe to.

Unfortunately the mp3 isn’t out yet, but you can complete these 2 easy steps on facebook to get the track later this week.

Just got the track from LOGGY, listen and download “Be Easy”.

Mike Stud – “In This Life” (featuring Loggy)

March 27th, 2011 by | Hip-Hop/Rap, Music Video |

Mike Stud and Loggy have a lot in common. Though one enjoys the California beaches in the west coast and the other prefers the cold D.C. weather; these two were both college athletes (Mike Stud: Pitcher at Duke) and (Loggy: Wide receiver for Cal Golden Bears) and the fact that they both are doing what they love which is making great music. That would only make sense as to why they would collaborate on a song which they recently have. It’s called “In This Life” and you can see the music video below:

I think this an awesome video as it gives a story into their lives, struggles and what they hope to accomplish. I think it’s also cool when they show some highlights of them playing their respective division I sport. Even if their athletic careers did not go they way they may have wanted it too; they are keeping a positive attitude and making great music in the process. Enjoy!

Loggy – “The Dream” *A Must Listen Electro/Hip-Hop Jam

Loggy is back and with a new club hit called “The Dream”. The California rapper recorded this track on a trip to a L.A. and  has now taken his talents to the next level with this one. He too has changed it up quite a bit doing what a lot of hip-hop artists have been doing recently, which is adding a club/dubstep/house feel to their tracks which I love and am taking full advantage of. This track was produced by sirThomas with Ana Villafane on the hook, adding a catchy feel to the track. Look out for more Loggy tracks in the near future.

Timeflies – [Cars, Money, and Fame x Teenage Dream Remix (featuring Loggy)]

January 23rd, 2011 by | Dance, Electropop, Hip-Hop/Rap, Remix |

Electro-Pop duo, Timeflies, released a new track earlier this week. It’s called “Cars, Money, and Fame” and though it is not my favorite track by them, it is still enjoyable to listen to. However, They remixed Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream” with Loggy earlier this month and that is definitely a track worth checking out. Loggy and Timeflies once again do not disappoint as they do an awesome job of rapping over sick instrumentals and Katy Perry on the hook is a nice little addition as well. Enjoy!

Loggy – “Free to Be” featuring Akon (Remix)

October 19th, 2010 by | Hip-Hop/Rap, Pop, Remix |

New song by Loggy called “Free to be” featuring Akon (Remix) when I was on GMAD last night. The rapper/Cal Bears football player continues to improve his music as each new track releases. Expect more great music by this West Coast up-and-comer in the near future.
