Most people think white people can’t rap, but Logic will change their minds. With his smooth style, there is nothing to not like about this guy. He is a 22 year old MC coming out of Maryland with a big future ahead of him.

I would consider Aer chill-hop since they have chill melodies and instrumentals yet smooth rapping over it. A couple months ago they put out “The Reach” and I became a fan as I loved this chill guitar beat with solid rapping from this Maryland music group.

I knew about rapper and producer Justin W at least a month now thanks to Hype Floats, but hadn’t really enjoyed his tracks until recently. Justin W has a unique style and it’s hard to compare his music to many other aritsts although you can tell he has the potential to become a mainstream star.

I took notice when he produced a song called “I’m On It” featuring Triple J, which has a crazy good beat. Then I did a little research and found there are a couple more I like from Maryland-born artist Justin W.

Many of you probably have not heard of Primary Element. This unsigned hip-hop group from Silver Spring, Maryland consists of rappers Mike Wallz as well as Stan and Steve Spottswood. Check out the official music video of their single “Go Get It” in addition to their song “Hello World” by this up-and-coming hip-hop group.
