Kyle Bent – “Hurry Up”

June 12th, 2012 by | Hidden Gem, Hip-Hop/Rap, Music Video |

Kyle Bent is the definition of youngin on his grind. At the young age of 14, the high school freshman already has the skills of a veteran. Kyle Bent was born in Jamaica and later moved out to  Randolph MA, a suburb of Boston. The young emcee not only has some unbelievable talent but a fan base to support him. At first listen I was blown away, it’s kids like Kyle Bent  that keep the good name of Hip-hop alive.

Kyle  recently released his newest mixtape entitled “The Catalyst” which can be found on here) Kyle Bent also released visuals for his latest single “Hurry Up”. With Producerboyz producing the track and HLRboston making the visuals, you truly can’t go wrong. This kid definitely has a bright future ahead of him. Make sure to “like” his Facebook page and download “The Catalyst”.

KJ Hines – “Up & Down” (Prod. By Dwight “Skrapp” Reynolds) + Music Video

December 30th, 2011 by | Hip-Hop/Rap, Music Video |

I don’t know much about KJ Hines. However I got this track sent to me with the visuals the other day and was very impressed. “Up & Down” explains the positives and negatives in life. KJ has great flow and his producer Dwight “Skrapp” Reynolds does an amazing job on the boards, creating an awesome beat. This kid has potential, it will be interesting to see how he matures and progresses as an artist. Enjoy!

2 New Music Videos (Ground Up & Radical Something)

December 20th, 2011 by | Hip-Hop/Rap, Music Video |

Ground Up – “Boulevard” (Download)

Above is the new visuals for “Boulevard” off Ground Up‘s recent mixtape Romantic Comedy. I love this song and when they add in a cool music video too, it builds even more credibility for this up-and-coming hip-hop group who continues to shine!

Radical Something – “Freedom” (Download)

This west coast group shot their newest music video for “Freedom” in New York city. Radical Something has always been great at providing chill songs to vibe to and I especially enjoy when they include great visuals with it as well. This group is going places and I am glad I found them while they are still up-and-coming!

The Dean’s List – “The Dream” (Music Video)

November 30th, 2011 by | Hip-Hop/Rap, Music Video |

Earlier this week, The Dean’s List dropped the visuals for their track “The Dream” which is off their critically-acclaimed mixtape The Drive-In. A solid music video for a legit track is what we’ve expect from this group for a while now. They have been killing it this year, touring the country performing shows and gaining a much larger audience in the process. This group (especially Sonny Shotz) have bright futures ahead of them. Enjoy!

Radical Something – “Sun Down” (Music Video)

November 26th, 2011 by | Chill/Jam/Reggae, Hip-Hop/Rap, Music Video, Rock |

California vibe band Radical Something recently released their newest music video. This time it is to their track “Sun Down” and it’s a good one. When they sent us over the new video, they stated that:

“Friendship and family are the two biggest things in our lives, and this new jam is really an ode to the good times we have all had with one another.”

The visuals truly show what they mean as the whole video is shot with the group and their friends just relaxing and enjoying life together. Be sure to download their free album We Are Nothing here.

Childish Gambino – “Bonfire” (Music Video)

November 3rd, 2011 by | Hip-Hop/Rap, Music Video |

Childish Gambino released the visuals for his hit single “Bonfire” which is off his upcoming album Camp. This is not only my favorite track by him, but the visuals are sick as well. I cannot wait for the album to drop. In the meantime, enjoy…

September 12th, 2011 by | Hip-Hop/Rap, Music Video |

XV just dropped his newest music video. This time it is for “Wichita” off his most recent and widely successful Zero Heroes mixtape. I enjoyed this video. It’s simple, but the camera work is solid and the song is always great. Enjoy!

The Dean’s List – “Burn It All” (Music Video)

August 18th, 2011 by | Hip-Hop/Rap, Music Video |

Earlier today, the visuals to one of my favorite tracks “Burn It All” off The Dean’s List mixtape The Drive-in dropped and it’s a good one folks. I have been a fan of this group ever since I first heard them back in April of 2010 and they just continue to get better and better. This is a sick music video. They give off the mentality that they just want to have fun, party, and not let anything get in their way. I cannot wait to see them at the Key Club in LA with OnCue in November as part of their upcoming “Pledge to Rage Tour”. It should be an awesome time. Enjoy!
