Here’s the video for, “Rich Kid”. OnCue be releasing, “New Religion” within the month which has a cameo from Just Blaze and Party Supplies.
Here’s the video for “Rich Kid” which displays some quality but I expect bigger things with the video for “New Religion”. (more…)
The official music video for “Kinda Late” by OnCue has dropped! It is renowned producer Just Blaze‘s directorial debut and he does a very amazing job at it. The camera work was great and it was actually kind of a funny video. Cuey’s creative director Adam Ross was put into the majority of the video instead of the rapper himself because he was a better fit for the role. The Mike Posner part was left out of the video but as a whole it was quite enjoyable!

We got dat new new OnCue. I love how upbeat and original this is. According to Cuey, the song started off somewhere, and ended in another place — and the final outcome is one of the most “fun” records he’s released in a long time.
Listen and download “New Religion” below, a banger hip-hop track produced by Fool’s Gold artist/producer Party Supplies and Just Blaze.
The video for “Kinda Late” (ft. Mike Posner) that Just Blaze directed is dropping sometime soon, and also the video to “Rich Kid”.
Previous: OnCue – Rich Kid (prod. by Brenton Duvall & CJ Luzi)
So Brenton Duvall and OnCue‘s usual producer, CJ Luzi, have collaborated to produce an excellent track for the up-and-coming Northeastern rapper. This is already one of my favorite original OnCue tracks and shows his progress as an artist. Previous: OnCue – Can’t Wait (mixtape) + “Headlights” (video)

Above is the official music video to OnCue‘s track “Headlights” and with that also comes the release of his newest mixtape, Can’t Wait. I have been a big fan of his for a while and have been very excited for this new project to drop. After I saw him perform live for the first time two weeks ago, I really saw how talented he is.
Now that I’ve heard this entire mixtape, I can tell he has taken his music to the next level in all ways, shapes and forms such as his production value, rapping, and everything in between. Enjoy this amazing new mixtape by one talented individual! An exclusive interview that we did with him at Key Club is coming soon.
Download: Can’t Wait (Entire Mixtape)

OnCue has leaked “Kinda Late”, his newest track off his much anticipated mixtape Can’t Wait. It is a good one, featuring Mike Posner with great rapping, singing, instrumentals and overall melody. This track makes me even more excited for this Wednesday (November 16th), the day that Can’t Wait is slated to drop. An exclusive interview with Cuey from us will be available for your view pleasure later this month. In the meantime enjoy this awesome track!
Last Thursday night was a party in Hollywood when the Pledge to Rage Tour stopped at Key Club to put on a great show. iLLie, OnCue and The Dean’s List rocked the place with style making an overall enjoyable show. I have been following these three acts for a long time and to see them all on stage for one event was truly a great experience.
Our night started off we with iLLiE, an alternative hip-hop/rock group from right in Los Angeles. They are small and not very well known. However, after their performance, I believe they gained a handful of new fans. Their unique style and energy really got the crowd interested. My favorite track by them that they performed is “D.G.A.F.” (Don’t Give A Fuck). Enjoy it below:
While Gilbere Forte was performing, we had the honor of interviewing OnCue back stage before his set. They interview will be up on the site later this month but he is a really cool guy and it was a total success. When it was time for him to go on stage, he absolutely lit it up. I always knew he was a very talented rapper but I had way more respect for him and his skills after seeing him live. He reminds me of a young Atmosphere. My all time favorite track by him is “Feel Tall” and that was in my opinion his best song he performed during his set. Enjoy!
Finally, to end the night was the main act, The Dean’s List. As you all know we have been following and promoting this group since pretty much the beginning back in April 2010. As a matter of fact, they are one of the main reasons why we decided to start up this website, to market young up-and-comers such as this hip-hop group. This was only the second time I saw them perform. The first time was back in September 2010, way before their hit mixtape The Drive-In dropped. Now, that I got to hear many of The Drive-In tracks live, I’ve come to even further acknowledge this groups true potential. They got that crowd jumping up and down with lots of energy. Not a dull moment occurred during their set with every song being a huge success. My favorite of theirs was “Dear Professor”. Enjoy!
Upcoming Tour Dates: 11/08 – Portland, Oregon (Roseland Ballroom), 11/09 – Eugene, Oregon (WOW Hall), 11/10 – Washington State University, 11/11 – Seattle, Washington (The Vera Project), 11/16 – Boulder, Colorado (Fox Theatre), 11/18 – Cedar Falls, Iowa (Wheelhouse)

Recently OnCue released “All The Way” for download and just recently he released the official music video. “All The Way” is the lead singler off Cuey’s much anticipated next project Can’t Wait.
Cuey continues to shine and this music video just proves his potential star power in the alternative hip-hop realm especially in the next few months with the Pledge to Rage Tour he is doing with The Dean’s List.
