Introducing Yury *Pittsburgh rapper
June 12th, 2012 by Siegz | Album/Mixtape/EP Review, Hip-Hop/Rap, Music Video |
Yury is a rapper/producer from Pittsburgh who works closely with Big Jerm and E.Dan of I.D. Labs fame, producers behind Wiz Khalifa and Mac Miller’s success. Yury is a hip-hop artist who blends electro aspects in his latest mixtape with his music video of the project, ”Landing on Stars”. This dude has some real potential, if not for the production behind his music, then for his lyricism, which is pretty solid and only looks to get better.

Mac Miller returns with yet another awesome and very relaxing hip-hop track. It’s called “Talk About” and it’s about exactly what the title of the song entail, talking about what to rap about. This kid has done some big things already in the past year and he is only getting more popular and more talented. I look forward to the release of his debut album this summer. Enjoy!
As many of you already know, Mac Miller dropped his newest project, Best Day Ever, last Friday which he calls a “Fralbum” meaning a free album. I am a big fan of Mac Miller and have really enjoyed listening to this album so far. He shows lots of versatility in his tracks as he does a great job of rapping over any type of beat. “Donald Trump” is amazing and the visuals are great as well which you can view
Early this morning, Mac Miller dropped his first single off his upcoming mixtape, Best Day Ever, which drops on March 11th. It’s called “Donald Trump” and it’s straight fire. Mac Miller has really matured as an artist over the last year or so and he is only getting better. He is the reason why white rappers are becoming much more relevant in the hip-hop world and I look forward to March 11th when his mixtape drops. Sap does a great job on the boards producing this awesome track. Enjoy!
Another new Wiz Khalifa track. The third single known as “Roll Up” is off his upcoming debut album, Rolling Papers, set to drop on March 29th. This is another “pop” sounding song which Pittsburgh’s finest has been experimenting with quite a bit recently. Though it sounds quite different than the majority of his other tracks, I love it a lot. He is trying to expand his fan base far beyond just the stoner college kids and he’s doing a great job at it. This track was produced by Stargate. Enjoy!
It seems like Wiz Khalifa pumps out new songs everyday. Today he released “Big Screen” which he raps in autotune. I never expected Wiz to make a song like T-Pain or Lil Wayne but it is actually quite catchy. He also dropped “I Ain’t Them” (featuring Poetic) a couple of days ago which has the typical laid back feel he is used to making in his music. It also introduced me to a young talented rapper,
The two biggest stoners in the hip-hop game, Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa collaborate to create a great smoking song called “That Good”. These two have been very busy as of late with Snoop Dogg getting his hands on virtually everything these days and turning them into fire. Wiz is arguably the biggest and most popular new rapper on the scene as he has blown up a lot in the last six months.
