An Incredible Weekend at Coachella (Day 1: Friday)

It was impossible to see everyone I wanted to live and the weather was not as good the whole weekend as I would have liked it to be. However, that did not stop me from seeing some great live performances. Starting today and up until Wednesday, I will share with you the performances I saw each day and let you all know what to expect if you are going this coming weekend.
































A month late but worth your wait! A collective of mashup artists called the Global Mashup Crew dropped a 10-track mixtape near the end of 2010 called Global Mashup Crew Biggest Hits 2010 (
One cover is straight 80′s pop, and immediately you might be thinking Madonna… well you’re right. Starf*cker covers Madonna’s “Girls Just Want To Have Fun” to make for an indie pop song I enjoy more than the original (maybe because I’m more comfortable singing along to this one).
Next Ben l-Oncle Soul takes on The White Stripes’ “Seven Nation Army” to make for a jazz/soul type of feel to it.
