Tayyib Ali – “412/215” featuring Devin Miles (prod. La Harrier)

February 26th, 2012 by | Hip-Hop/Rap |

Philadelphia rapper Tayyib Ali traveled to Pittsburgh to record a track with Devin Milescalled “412/215”. Those are the area codes of the two cities. It’s a solid track with legit rapping by both artists. However, the thing that makes this track so special in my opinion is the production by La Harrier. This beat is awesome! Tayyib Ali’s time is coming soon to blow up. It is only a matter of time before he is a household name. Enjoy!

Rockie Fresh – They Don’t Understand Why Remix ft. Tayyib Ali x Sour

August 16th, 2011 by | Hip-Hop/Rap |

Two new songs from Rockie Fresh that popped up in the last couple months. This fall Rockie Fresh is releasing a new project and recently he released a trailer for it with a snippet from the unreleased track “No Fear”. But before I show you the video to that, here’s a couple new tracks from Rockie Fresh, which have a chill feel but show his serious flow. In “They Don’t Understand Why” Remix, Rockie gets Tayyib Ali on the track, two up-and-comers who should be strongly considered for XXL Freshmen 2012. Listen and download “They Don’t Understand Why” Remix and “Sour”, which has an interestingly slick beat.

Tayyib Ali recently dropped the visuals for “Live on the Road” (featuring Dave Patten) which is off his Sophomore mixtape, Keystone State of Mind. This is a solid music video to an awesome track which discusses life on being on the road, touring various cities and gaining popularity and fame in the process. Enjoy!

Logic – Mind of Logic (Video)

July 25th, 2011 by | Hip-Hop/Rap |

Logic, the newest artist to sign to Chris Zarou’s Visionary Music Group, home of Tayyib Ali, just dropped the visuals to his latest track, “Mind of Logic.” The beat is simple boom bap stuff, but Logic is so lyrical and skilled with his wordplay, that he absolutely kills the beat. Logic is a seriously talented, technical rapper, as can spit super quick and tight while still adding in tons of internal rhymes. Check out the video after the jump:

Tayyib Ali – Keystone State of Mind (mixtape)

April 26th, 2011 by | Hip-Hop/Rap |

Do I like this mixtape more than Tayyib Ali‘s last mixtape Eighteen, I’m still not so sure. This mixtape is way more chill and I don’t find many songs that stand out or that I would play over and over.

However there are several songs on Keystone State of Mind that I think are real quality chill hip-hop tracks which I like from Tayyib Ali simply because of his flow and the production behind it.

Here’s my three favorite tracks off Keystone State of Mind, download the mixtape on datpiff.

Tayyib Ali, just like XV, is gonna blow up this year. Those two are the best hip-hop up-and-comers in the game right now and theres no stoping them. Above is the official music video for “Supermodel” (featuring Amandi) which better shows what I am talking about. Tayyib’s rapping is superb and Amandi provides a great and very catchy chorus. I am positive that this song will be a radio hit in the next few months. Enjoy!

Earlier this week, Tayyib Ali dropped a new music video of his new track “California Love”. I appreciate all the love he gives for my home state in this song. This kid is gonna blow up by the end of this year. His flow is amazing and his lyricism shows how serious he should be taken as a rapper. So jump on the bandwagon as soon as possible. Enjoy!

Official Music Video: Tayyib Ali – “Keystone State of Mind”

Tayyib Ali dropped the official music video for the first single “Keystone State of Mind” off of his upcoming mixtape with the same name. This mixtape is set to release in late April. Tayyib has the makings to be a huge star in the near future and I have no doubt that he will reach mainstream success. He has a simple yet amazing flow over catchy beats (not overdoing it with the banger electronic beats). Tayyib keeps it original and does not seem to sell out which is what I love about his music. I am sorry everyone but there will be no download link for this track until the Keystone State of Mind mixtape drops next month. However, Enjoy these awesome visuals and I promise more great music is coming from this Philly rapper.

Brenton Duvall & Tayyib Ali – Pretty Little Penthouse

January 23rd, 2011 by | Hip-Hop/Rap |

If you haven’t heard of Brenton Duvall or Tayyib Ali, it’s finally time you do because these two individually are going to make it big.

Brenton Duvall is a dope mashup artist turned rising hip-hop producer. Here’s an example of a dope track Brenton prodcued for Young Prince.

Tayyib Ali is a Philadelphia-born rapper who has performed with big artists like Wiz Khalifa is record deal away from becoming a mainstream act.

The two collaborated for “Pretty Little Penthouse” which has dope instrumentals over superb rapping. Other rappers should seek out Brenton Duvall and look to get Tayyib Ali featured on their tracks.
