March 12th, 2012 by | Album/Mixtape/EP Review, Daily Mix, Mashup, Mashup Monday |

Mashup banger after mashup banger, The White Panda continues to create party mashup tracks that get everybody moving. The White Panda have released a new project, Bambooyah! This mix one hour mix is filled with filthy high energy tracks and is a mash of some of the best club hits from last year and some classic vocals from the past couple of years.

I appreciate TWP letting people download the continuous mix or separated tracks. Stream it below.

The White Panda – Mo Free Mo Fallin’ x Midnight Life

September 28th, 2011 by | Mashup |

The White Panda does it again, combining two classic songs from two different genres. All-time rap great Biggie Smalls‘ with all-time classic rock great Tom Petty. B.I.G’s “Mo Money Mo Problems” is meshed perfectly with Petty’s “Free Fallin” by The White Panda to create a great mashup.

About a couple weeks back, The White Panda released “Midnight Life”, Kanye West T-Pain‘s “The Good Life” on vocals with M83‘s “Midnight City” on instrumentals.

White Panda Wednesday *3 new mashups!

August 10th, 2011 by | Dance, Mashup |

Three new mashups from The White Panda that were released within the last month so I decided today is “White Panda Wednesday”. Ready for some hump-day raging to party mashups. First we got “Deep In The Levels” which pits Avicii‘s instrumentals to “Levels” with Adele‘s hit “Rolling In The Deep”.

Next is a song that features Ke$ha vocals… wait can you really call them Ke$ha vocals, personally I see her at the Rebecca Black level of talent. Anyways, White Panda mixes Ke$ha over some Coyote Kisses for another upbeat banging mashup. They made a music video for “Lazerblow”, which you can check out at the bottom of the post. Download

Lastly comes “Children of the Lights” with takes Ellie Goulding‘s lyrics to you guessed it “Lights”. Instrumentals from Robert Miles and Dave Darell. Love how this mashup really picks up and has an almost epic drop in it.

The White Panda and BrownJoe Zalesky live at Key Club

July 5th, 2011 by | Before Bigs Exclusive, Concert/Festival Review, Mashup, Remix, Reviews |

I saw three artists on July 3rd but honestly I only remember two of them, The White Panda and BrownJoe Zalesky, as the pre-4th of July Pandamonium show was off the hook at The Key Club Hollywood.

Unfortunately I missed AudioDax opening and don’t remember the 3rd act, Electrolightz but I do remember hearing and raging to some awesome sets from DJ BrownJoe Zalesky and The White Panda.

I get to The Key Club at first disappointed for missing AudioDax, and also getting there so early I would be left seeing the filler acts leading to the headliner. However, BrownJoe Zalesky came on and really started the party with his DJ mix which included a few originals, some mashups and mostly some dope remixes.

What impressed me the most is BrownJoe only started DJing seriously in late 2010 and has already done several shows with The White Panda, did a show with Steve Aoki (view the highlights here: BrownJoe is the guy with Van City on the back of his tee and it’s his mix in the video!) and many more in the future! I’m still getting more tracks from him, but until now, here’s a Passion Pit remix that’s a BtB Exclusive!
Passion Pit – The Reeling (Brownjoe Remix)
Next came Electrolightz which I don’t remember much of as I was partying it up with BrownJoe after his set and mostly talking about music including what to expect with The White Panda.

Being pretty wasted by the time The White Panda came on, I mostly remember jumping up and down with my hands in the air and singing along to the catchy lyrics The White Panda always seems to find the right fit with, instrumental-wise. However, the only difference between The White Panda live and not live isn’t in the music but rather the fact that you are raging/partying much more seeing them live than listening to their music some other way. Here’s my new favorite (“Foolish Monsters”) and their most recent mashup (“Ignite Cherie”) that they played in their hour-long set.

Skrillex Sunday! *mashups, remix and Skrillex original!

June 19th, 2011 by | Dance, Dubstep, Mashup, Remix |

Skrillex versus Lil’ Jon. The White Panda straight killin’ it once again. Can’t wait to see these guys live, must be a big party when they bust out these upbeat bangin’ mashups.

Next we go with a Skrillex original with “Ruffneck”. Dubstep banger!

Twin Atlantic has a solid song “What Is Light? What Is Laughter?” which Skrillex remixes. It’s a little long at 6 minutes but Skrillex turns an indie pop/rock tune into more of an electronica banger so I’m down for the raging. Am I the only one who thought Enrique Iglesias was on the vocals?

Lastly, Willanthropic does a mashup with The Who versus J-Kwon versus Skrillex versus Dorrough. A classic rock band versus two rappers who are one-hit wonders versus a DJ who is considered dubstep when he’s really much better and much more than just dubstep. Forgot to mention that Willanthropic takes a funny ass quote from the hilarious Adam Sandler comedy Billy Madison.

The White Panda – Pandamonium (album) *killer mashup mix

March 3rd, 2011 by | Album/Mixtape/EP Review, Daily Mix, Mashup |

This week, The White Panda released their latest album, Pandamonium, a 40-track mix featuring some of their past mashups, tons of new mashup’s and overall a MUST DOWNLOAD if you like mashups. Once again, The White Panda show why they are possibly the best 2 song mashup artist, always seeming to find 2-3 songs that fit in so well to mashup.

There’s tons of great mashups on this mix, but here’s my top four favorites.
Bust A Love (Haddaway x Young MC)

Damn I Can’t Stop (Red Hot Chili Peppers x Youngbloodz)

D.R.E Don’t Go (Mike Posner x Dr. Dre)

Walking On Al (Paul Simon x Empire Of The Sun)

The White Panda – Good For Girls

November 10th, 2010 by | Mashup |

Mashup between Wale and Matt & Kim. LOVE IT!

The White Panda possibly produce the best two song mashes around.

Daily Mash – The Next Starf*cker

November 5th, 2010 by | Mashup |

Dr. Dre/Snoop Dogg vs Starf*cker. An older mashup by The White Panda (it was made five months ago), but I really love it and it’s my birthday.

As a birthday bonus, here’s one of my favorite (and lesser known) Hoodie Allen songs, “Owen Wilson”. Hoodie raps over the same Starf*cker song used above, just reminds me of summer joy.
