Pusha T and Tyler The Creator get together to create a raw new hip-hop track called “Trouble On My Mind”. Both artists have been quite popular in the cyber world recently with Tyler The Creator blowing up like crazy. I cannot wait to see Pusha T on season 2 of How To Make It In America.
Back to the song though, the rapping is intense by both artists over some hard beats. Tyler The Creator is known for being quite controversial and this further proves it. Enjoy!

Earlier today, The Dean’s List dropped a new track with the visuals all in one. This song is called “Plutonic” and it is a bit darker of sound than what we are used to hearing out of the group. However, it is still awesome. It has an OFWGKTA/Tyler the Creator type sound to it which I love a lot. It shows how versatile the group is and indicates even more that this group is bound for stardom very soon. Unfortunately I do not have the download link for this track. Either way, enjoy!
Talk about hyping up your shit only to hear just about the same lyrics, mostly the same production, and mostly the same features. Tyler The Creator‘s GOBLIN is just a little bit better than BASTARD but after hearing Tyler talking about how this album would be different than his other stuff, I was disappointed to hear basically the same lyrical material with slightly better production.
Some people are going to take this project and say it’s great, because they love how different Tyler The Creator is. Some are going to say they love it, because they feel the need to buy into the hype with the rest of their suburban white friends and/or the blogs they follow talking about how much they love the album. Either way, I think the album is good, not great. I hope it does well in record sales but I really hope that this opens up more opportunities for the rest of Odd Future as the MellowHype duo, Mike G, and especially Jet Age of Tomorrow are under-appreciated.
Anyways, here’s my two favorite songs that haven’t been posted on here before.
Tyler The Creator – Sandwitches (Featuring Hodgy Beats)
Tyler The Creator – Analog (Featuring Hodgy Beats)
If you are a fan of Tyler The Creator and you still spend money on music, then I recommend buying Goblin. Below watch a video of an old lady reading a few of Tyler The Creator’s tweets. (more…)
Tyler, the Creator‘s much anticipated album, Goblin, is slated to release on May 10th. Here’s the first and only leak off the album; a track called “Tron Cat”. If this is what the rest of the songs on the album are going to sound like, then I am very excited for it’s release. Once again, over hard beats, OFWGKTA‘s leader Tyler provides some very intense and controversial lyrics.
“Rape a pregnant bitch and tell my friends I had a threesome.”
After Tyler The Creator from Odd Future dissed B.o.B in his hit single “Yonkers”, Bobby Ray decided to return the beef in his new track “No Future”. Towards the end of the track he says, “Keep fuckin’ wit me you gon have no future”. This was after Tyler The Creator took a stab at his music and though I love Tyler’s music, I did lose a little bit of respect for him after he ripped on arguably the biggest hip-hop act in the game right now. Good work B.o.B at showing Tyler The Creator whose boss. Enjoy!

See what Tyler The Creator has to say about B.o.B in the “Yonkers” music video above!
Funny video my friend Chris Taylor of MicControl posted earlier today of a meeting between Odd Future (minus Earl) and EKG Recordings (fake record label starring Paul Scheer). So many quotable lines in this hilarious video… “fuck the framer!”
Watch the video and let me know what you think about it!
Although Tyler the Creator is signed to XL Recordings, this video is also funny because this would be the kind of response Odd Future would have if some big shot executives came up to them about changing who they are.
But I can’t leave you without a new song, so here’s Toro y Moi’s remix to one of my favorite Tyler The Creator songs “French”. It’s an interesting take with the instrumentals over some of the craziest lyrics I have heard in a song.
Tyler The Creator – French (Toro y Moi Remix)
While were on the subjects of remixes, get chopped & screwed with Mike G’s remix to Tyler The Creator’s latest hit “Yonkers“, which Kanye West tweeted as the best music video of 2011! Can’t get a much bigger artist than that for an endorsement. Anybody got a safe recipe for sizzurp that I can drink while listening to this remix?
Four mashups from four mashups artists who have DJ in their name. First mashup is by one of my favorite mashup artists, DJ Bahler, who really knows how to make the most out of a song he is using in a mashup. He uses Tyler The Creator vocals and instrumentals with Gold Panda and Caribou in his latest mashup “Cellar Door” (song above). Download because DJ Bahler had the guts to use Tyler the Creator. Download “Cellar Door”
DJ PHRESH does more of a remix than a mashup when he uses upcoming hip-hop duo Dean & Ravo’s catchy song “Walkin’ Around” vs Capone. Not really sure who Capone is but I’m sure DJ Phresh used some of his vocals with Dean & Ravo. Solid electro instrumentals but I’m more a fan of the Dean & Ravo vocals.
I like DJ Ryno because he uses several songs pretty well and you can easily point out the songs he uses. However easily identifying the vocals and instrumentals also means the transitions are a bit slow but overall DJ Ryno is solid and if you like the mashup below, then you can download his last mashup mixtape, Nocturnal Concepts.
Next to Last by DJ RYNO
DJ Invisiboy recently reached out to us and at first I didn’t like the mashups because it’s music ADD overload with how crazy some of his mashups are. However “Rawnald Where You At” is my favorite featuring Lil Wayne vocals overal Starf*cker‘s insanely catchy indie rock instrumentals which Invisiboy sped up.
Can an artists popularity be measured by the various feelings ignited by their music. If so, Odd Future can become one of the greatest rap groups of the 21st century as you either hate them, love them, or think they are some crazy ass rappers and haven’t figured out your feelings about them. Above they made their TV debut on Jimmy Fallon where Tyler The Creator and Hodgy Beats of Odd Future performed “Sandwitches” (download).
The video features OFWGKTA in ski masks, The Roots performing with them, smoke machines and the girl from The Ring. Plus Tyler The Creator hops on Jimmy Fallon’s back at the end that got me yelling “wolfgang” and “swag” a couple times.
Anyway, to get you up to date on OFWGKTA aka Odd Future, here’s my five favorite songs from the members of one of the most unique up-and-coming hip-hop groups.
Tyler The Creator – French! Featuring Hodgy Beats
MellowHype – CocainKeys
Cool by Earl Sweatshirt And Mike G
Tyler The Creator – Session Ft. Hodgy Beats And BranDun Deshay
Jet Age of Tomorrow – Dust Off (ft. Hodgy Beats & Mike G)
Have you heard of Tyler The Creator and OFWGKTA (Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All) aka Odd Future? If you haven’t heard of them, you will hear a ton about them after their performance at Coachella in April, where they are one of several hip-hop artists performing.
Odd Future is becoming the West Coast Wu-Tang Clan as these 16-23 year olds are going to change up the game. They are going to change the hip-hop game with how different and mature/disturbing/obscene their content is, which is why you will either hate them, love them, or wonder why you are always paying attention to them.
Above is Tyler The Creator’s most recent single, “Yonkers” (download). It’s a NSFW video, as he eats an insect and raps about the craziest stuff. Tyler The Creator is one of the more well-known MC’s of Odd Future along with Earl Sweatshirt (link is to another very NSFW video).
So happy Valentines Day, download Odd Future’s last mixtape, Radical and if you like it, then jump on the “breakout hip-hop group of 2011″ hype train because the popularity of Odd Future is only going to grow.
