Vizzy kills it as always! We’ve been following XV‘s music for quite a bit now (over two years at least) and he continues to be the most underrated MC in the hip-hop game. He is an incredibly talented individual and continues to make waves in the underground scene. However, hopefully Popular Culture helps bring him to the next level. Did I mention that the artwork for it is incredible!?!?!

All of his fans (including myself) have been waiting for a while for his debut album The Kid With The Green Backpack to release. Although, this is a nice little over hold over until that glorious day comes. Enjoy Popular Culture in it’s entirety below!

Wichita, Kansas rapper XV returns and better than ever. This time he introduces the world to “Be There, Be Square” which is produced by the renowned Xaphoon Jones of Chiddy Bang. This is off Vizzy‘s upcoming mixtape Popular Culture which is set to drop on June 15th.

Once again Vizzy’s rapping and Xaphoon Jones production are top-notch and the two of them make a great duo. I hope to hear more collaborations by them in the near future and very much look forward to June 15th for mixtape to drop. Enjoy!

Are you a fan of Drake and Lil’ Wayne‘s track “The Motto”? If so, you’ll love XV and Sez Batters‘ version on it. I personally think it’s better and I am sure many of you will agree as well. Above is an awesome music video for “The L7 Motto”.

The L7 has become a slogan that his squarian fan base has fully embraced. I always say that Vizzy deserves way more recognition and I am just waiting for him to fully break through. Maybe he needs a new label backing him up, I don’t really know. Either way he has accomplished a lot but more needs to be done.

Vizzy just does not seem to quit. I don’t even know how this guy is still classified as an up-and-comer but the Wichita rapper continues to show why he is so good and only getting better. Today we are presented with the music video to his master piece “Batteries” which features Trae The Truth and is produced by the one and only The Awesome Sound. Vizzy drops another hit! This time we are blessed with “27 Club” and I absolutely love it. The track has an awesome, dubstep mixed with hip-hop influenced beat with sensational rapping by XV. Another awesome track by Vizzy. This time he gives the world “Hoop Dreams” and it is absolute fire. I don’t know how XV is not a bigger star. He is absolutely amazing at rapping and he has excellent producers working on his music such as B. Dolla of this track. I cannot wait for his debut album with Warner Bros Records, The Kid With the Green Backpack to finally drop. I do not know when that is exactly but enjoy this track while we wait. It’s been a while since we last heard a new track by XV, but he’s back and thank god for that. I have been wondering what he has been up to but I am so glad he has returned with “The Kick” a raw track with a heart-pounding beat and electrifying lyricism and rapping by Vizzy. I really want his debut album The Kid With The Green Backpack to drop and don’t know when it will, but this is a great track to keep us anxiously waiting to as it will be on repeat for a while.
