Canadian indie rockers Wildlife will be touring this April in support of their recently released sophomore album, “…On The Heart,” and I thought I’d share their latest single “Born To Ruin” from that album. Below are the tour dates, which includes an LA show at Troubadour that I can’t wait to attend! Also below is the music video to “Born To Ruin”.

Hidden Gem: Wildlife *Rock

Here’s an up-and-coming Toronto rock band called Wildlife. In November 2010 they released their debut album, Strike Hard, Young Diamond (iTunes) and the album appeared on many year end best album lists. Today I present to you their first music video for the single, “Sea Dreamer”.

“Sea Dreamer” has a lot of rocking instrumentals going on and how they coincide with the vocals that carry so much weight and emotion. Seeing this song live, I bet the whole crowd would be singing along by the end of it.

After watching the video to “Sea Dreamer”, I decided to listen to their other free songs from their debut album. After listening to “Stand In The Water”, I knew these guys were hidden gem’s in my book. This Canadian rock band has a fun and real catchy sound that excites me for what Wildlife will put out next.

Stream and download three songs from Strike Hard, Young Diamond including my favorites “Stand In The Water” and “Sea Dreamer”.

After the jump, watch the official music video to “Sea Dreamer” and stream the whole debut album from Wildlife. (more…)
